David Lyng Real Estate is family-owned and locally operated. David and Sally Lyng started their brokerage in 1980 with a small office in Aptos, four Realtors®, and a mission to provide a full-service brokerage focused on delivering an exceptional client experience.
Since then, and under the same vision, we have organically grown our business to include five offices spread over two counties and over 200 REALTORS®. We at David Lyng Real Estate pride ourselves on being part of the community and supporting local businesses. Since our inception, David Lyng Real Estate has been an active member of the Santa Cruz Association of REALTORS® and numerous local Chamber of Commerce and supported various local charity and nonprofit organizations.
In recent years, David and Sally have welcomed their daughters, Megan and Morgan, into the business. They are honored that their daughters have chosen to follow in their footsteps. This next generation is committed to continuing the company with the same tradition and values David and Sally established in 1980. Giving Back
David Lyng Real Estate is a proud supporter of the United Way. The United Way focuses on youth success, family financial stability, and health because these are the essential building blocks for a good quality of life. The United Way raises awareness surrounding key issues that affect everyone and promotes social and policy change that helps strengthen people and our community.
David Lyng Real Estate hosts an annual charity golf tournament benefiting the United Way, with approximately $13,000 raised yearly and over $60,000 raised since partnerting. David Lyng is also proud to support several other non-profit organizations, including Adopt a Family, Big Brothers Big Sisters, CASA, Taste of MCAR, providing scholarships to students in
Monterey County, the Capitola Art & Wine Festival, and more!
