Katie Mekis Lemon
A Fourth-generation Santa Cruz native, she is passionate about life in the Bay Area and is dedicated to providing her clients with neighborhood-specific insights while sharing local market trends. Her financial background, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Santa Clara University and previous career as a director of finance and financial controller for corporations and our local non-profit Hospice of Santa Cruz County, helps Katie support her clients as they navigate the budgetary realities of buying and selling, ensuring that her clients receive the “best bang for their buck.”

She will use her lifetime of local connections to match clients with dedicated and professional service providers; from painters to electricians, to market and showcase your home to potential buyers.

She will communicate all the information you need to make informed decisions, and help guide you through all aspects of the purchasing process. You’ll probably see Katie around town as she is an active community member, regularly attending and participating in community events, and previously serving on the Board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Santa Cruz County. Outside of real estate Katie enjoys hiking, wine tasting, and spending time with family and friends. Along with her husband, a third generation Monterey resident, and their dog, Katie loves exploring the countryside, neighborhoods, and beaches. She regularly finds herself back and forth between Santa Cruz and Monterey (and all the amazing spots in between!)
